Here's my '47 Indian that I bought in1984 and completed restoration in 1988. This pic was at Augusta's 46 year HD dealer Vic Crenshaw's funeral about three years ago, I thought someone should ride a real motorcycle in the precession. I do have on a Harley tie just in case I needed to wipe up any oil off the Indian.
I collect and restore antique motorcycles but mostly try to ride them as much as possible. I like the bikes from the 20's and 30's but also have a few late models from the 40-60's. I am the founder and current president of the Dixie Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club in of America in Georgia. I have been a member of the AMCA since 1984. I also run a fictitious bike shop called Modern Antique Cycle out of my garage which of course is much too small. I currently have motorcycles that range from a 1916 Miami single belt drive up to my daily rider a 2003 HD FLH.
